Introducing Pastor L. David Dake


Rev. Dake and his wife Nancy began his pastorate at First Congregational Church in Lodi on January 1, 2004.  They and their three children, Araenae, Kelsey, and Josiah, live in the Lodi. 


Rev. Dake grew up in Elyria, OH, attended the University of Akron and Lorain County Community College, and then moved to Georgia to pursue his ministerial study.  He has a Bachelor’s Degree from Toccoa Falls College in Toccoa, GA, a Master’s Degree from Columbia International University of Columbia, SC, and was ordained in 1997.  He served as a Pastoral Intern at Grace Church in Middleburg Heights, OH and as senior pastor of Bethlehem Chapel of the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Wheeling, WV  for 8½ years before coming to Lodi.   Nancy has a degree in Elementary Education and currently serves as the church's Christian Education Director.
